November 7, 2011

One year ago today, I captured this image in Siena, Italy. It was indeed a great place to call home for 6 months.

Frames from Papua New Guinea

Recently I had the incredible opportunity of spending 2 weeks in PNG. The majority of my time there was spent on a dive boat, named the MV Febrina. Our dive schedule consisted of 5 dives per day, and, provided you are gnar enough to endure 5-6 hours per day underwater, you could see some beautiful reef forests.

Well... Sometime in the future I'll be posting some videos from my underwater journey in the South Pacific. But until then, please enjoy these few images from my time abroad.

Cheers!

Window Seat

Here's another one from our scenic flight to Red Lodge from Belgrade, MT. This was taken as we began our path over the Crazy Mountains.

Window Seat/ Father's Day

Got the chance to cruise around the Wet Beaver Creek area with my Pop on Father's Day! We had a great hike into my favorite Arizona Swimming hole and met some very nice people that I video taped cliff jumping. Shown here: Sedona, a wild photo of me and Bill, and some jumping strangers. Happy summertime to you all!

Moving to Santa Fe!

Howdy Folks,
Today Aly and I signed a lease in New Mexico (from Spain). We'll be moving in the first week of July. Here's a snap shot from our celebratory brunch with freshly squeezed orange mimosas and cheap bubbly.
Come visit us in the Southwest!

16mm Monday

Welcome to another 16mM! I dipped into the archives for this one, captured outside of Siena, Italy, in the fall of 2011.

Summer is almost here

Hiking, biking, climbing and more! These are all things I'm looking forward to enjoying this summer. Here's an older image of mine, taken at Pine Creek Lake in Montana, two summers past. The man in this photo goes by many names; Brain, Brainiac, or Brain-tron (to name a few).
Cheers, and here's to a happy summer folks!

16mm Monday

The Aqueduct, Segovia, Spain

Weekend trip to Segovia

This weekend Aly and I met up with her parents in central Spain. We had three days of great weather, tasty eatables, and as usual... an open itinerary. There, we spent our time castle touring, aqueduct spotting, and visiting the town of Ávila (another historic walled city).

Joy and Mike Kreikemeier are touring the Spanish peninsula from the saddle of their motorcycle, so of course we were delighted when they asked us to join them in the famous city of Segovia. We also visited the small village of Pedraza where we enjoyed some cañas de cerveza (beers!) and got in our daily dose of exercise on the public outdoor fitness equipment.
Cheers

Here I prove that "exercise" can indeed be a noble task
